I happen to surf the net for details on Celiac disease and coincidentally came across this site that gave me the details of gluten-free vendors. With the belief that those of you who are searching for restaurants offering gluten-free food might find this list useful, I thought of sharing this with you all.

The Gluten-Free Restaurants site currently provides a list of restaurants in New York, Rhode Island and Florida participating in this innovative program of offering gluten free food items at their restaurant.

As per the reports from Gluten-Free Restaurants, restaurants wanting to offer gluten-free food items are educated on the preparation of such dishes, and info for finding gluten-free food sources. More restaurants are expected to be added to this list as and when they register for this Gluten-Free Restaurant Awareness Program (GFRAP), which is managed by the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) of North America.

People suffering from celiac disease (CD), dermatitis herpetiformis (DH), and other gluten-related illnesses can use this website to find restaurants offering gluten-free meals.
