Bitesize 35 - Someone’s Been Eating My Porridge

And bear he is. Apparently, a bear invited itself to breakfast through an open kitchen door at a woman’s home in West Vancouver, in the Canadian province of British Columbia. She caught him eating her cereal and ran out to a neighbour’s place. Wonder if he used a spoon.

No word if it’s bear-proof, but if you’ve got too much money burning a hole in your pocket, you can waste it on the Thermador Freedom refrigerator, which has motorized shelves and modular sections.

Got even more money? Maybe this Berloni concept, “Not For Food”, will be your future kitchen. If that’s not for you, you’ve got a choice to decide between an open kitchen or a closed kitchen.

I mentioned in a previous Bitesize that there’s a guy in the US who had a lawnmower mishap, then found he’d lost his taste for bread. He ended up creating a crustless pizza. Well, I found the link to his official website (hey, why not), and here’s the official story.

His pizzas are currently only available in the Des Moines, Iowa area Hy-Vee stores. Hopefully, other distributors will see the value of such a cool change to pizzas and start selling it as well. I know that I’m looking forward to it. However, I’m not sure whether they’ll hold up as a grilled pizza.
