Canned Bean Sprouts?

To the visitor on my older Cooking For One Or Two blog searching for the phrase “canned bean sprouts”: please don’t take this personally, but never, never, never use canned bean sprouts.

Fresh bean sprouts are plentiful and inexpensive. In fact, you can grow your own very easily. All it takes is some mung beans, a jar, some water, a dark area, and a few days. Here’s a quick mushroom + bean sprout stir fry recipe on my older Cooking For One Or Two blog.
