Bitesize 18 - More Reality TV Gone Mad: Is Hell’s Kitchen Rigged?
I work primarily at home, so it’s not unusual for me to be listening to music or watching TV while working. What do I watch most? Why Food Network of course. (Called “Food TV” in Canada.) I’ve particularly been glued to the set when a new reality show called “Hell’s Kitchen” is on. I reviewed Hell’s Kitchen a few days ago, not having many good words for Chef Ramsay. Well, I have even less good stuff to say, after seeing a TV commercial for a Canadian ca.sino air this past week.
Imagine my surprise when Andrew, a contestant on Hell’s Kitchen, shows up in said TV commercial. I swear it’s him. Spank me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure. It’s bad enough that at the end of the last episode, Chef Ramsay let Andrew - mouthy, smart-aleck-y, and totally a non-team player that everyone on both teams dislikes - stay on and let a young woman go. What’s up with that, Chef?
